Traditional Model Making

At the heart of our business lies traditional model making skills that take many years to perfect. We have adapted these skills to maximise the benefits of the latest technologies. As well as assuring the best quality vacuum castings and master models from additive manufacture we have a fully equipped traditional workshop where we can construct traditionally made models. These can be high quality presentation models for exhibition stands, fit and function testing or marketing purposes, or simple block models for stylistic and volumetric evaluation. Our model makers are adept machinists and problem solvers, so be assured we can think on our feet to help with the design process drawing on many processes to ensure your project is realised.

Our finishing skills are second to none and our experienced model makers can provide a variety of finishes to models such as textured, high gloss and colour matching, and ‘rubber feel’ surface finish effects.

What our clients say

"PD Models produced the first pre-production samples of the Optical Level Sensor developed by my Company. It was these samples, beautifully made, that were successfully tested over a long period by Tesco for use in their refrigeration systems. They were always helpful, imaginative, professional and quick to respond to requests. I would not hesitate to recommend them." Peter Frank - Product Innovation Ltd.
